HOLY SHIT! After 16 hours in airports, aeroplanes, and trains I stepped out into the middle of Mong Kok. It felt like I had set foot inside a movie set. People and skyscrapers everywhere. Joy.
I got a crick in my neck from constantly staring up at all the beautiful skyscrapers, which also get lit up beautifully at night. The buzz his place is amazing, night markets running well past midnight, crowds everywhere, a superb metro, great street food, and a multitude of bars. There is also quite a few scenic parks and nature trails.
I could definitely see myself living in Hong Kong, if only there was a job here for someone with my skill set.
